Recreational / Academy

6 & Under Recreational (4v4)

The 6 & Under Recreational program continues the focus on individual ball skills presented in the Lil' Futbolers program.

Following best practices outlined in the United States Soccer Federation “Grassroots” methodology, players continue to work on individual skills within the environment of the game.

This in-house program is offered each fall and spring and runs for 8 to 10 weeks.

The group is led by a professional coach assisted by parent volunteers, and it typically trains 2 times per week for 1 hour.

Players play one game per week on Saturday morning at the Space Coast Communities Sports Complex (our home field).

8 & Under Recreational (4v4)

The 8 & Under Recreational program continues the focus on individual ball skills as it introduces players to playing with teammates and playing against opponents.

Continuing with best practices in the United States Soccer Federation “Grassroots” methodology, players continue to work on individual and team skills within the environment of the small-sided game.

10 & Under academy (7v7)

The foundation of any successful soccer club around the world is found within its youth academy program.

Based on the idea that playing the game of soccer is one of the best ways to learn it—the centerpiece of “grassroots” methodology, players are placed into team/player pools for training purposes.

Within this environment, players focus on individual technical skills first, play small-sided games in order to understand and learn to read the game, and are introduced to individual as well as team defending and attacking principles of play.

This program is offered each fall and spring and runs for 8 to 10 weeks. The group is led by a professional coach assisted by parent volunteers, and it typically trains 2 times per week for 1 hour.

Players play one game per week on Saturday morning at the Space Coast Communities Sports Complex (our home field) as well as fields across northern and central Brevard County (Titusville, Merritt Island, etc.). Players in this group are sometimes introduced to tournament play, participating in 1-2 local events.

12 & Under academy (9v9)

Unlike many other clubs, we extend our youth academy program to players in the 9v9 game, as we view these ages as critical to each player’s development as they inch closer to the full-sided game.

Team principles of play become more of a focus in this group, while still maintaining an emphasis on individual player development.

Players are placed into team/player pools while continuing to learn how to play the game and mastering individual technical skills are still the main focus.

This program is offered each fall and spring and runs for 8 to 10 weeks. The group is led by a professional coach assisted by parent volunteers, and it typically trains 2 times per week for 1 hour.

Players play one game per week on Saturday morning at the Space Coast Communities Sports Complex (our home field) as well as fields across Brevard County. Players in this group are often introduced to both competitive and tournament play, participating in 1-2 local events.
